Challenge

Develop lower thirds and title graphics for a collaboration with Grey Goose & Essence.

Therum collaborated with Citi Unlimited, Essence, and Grey Goose to design captivating title cards and dynamic lower thirds for the engaging video entitled “Toast to Black Fashion.” This lively production highlighted summer trends, featuring ESSENCE Beauty & Style editor Blake Newby, style influencer Kelà Walker, and spirits influencer Michelle Sprott as they celebrated Black Fashion at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture.

Goal

Create visually appealing assets for a video celebrating Black Fashion at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture.

In crafting these motion assets, we drew inspiration from the sleek design of Grey Goose bottles and incorporated pastel colors to evoke a fresh and summery vibe. Additionally, Therum conducted research and curated a moodboard to develop the styling for the lower thirds, ensuring they harmonized with the overall aesthetic of the video.

Result

Enhanced the visual storytelling of the "Toast to Black Fashion" video.

Through meticulous research and curation of a moodboard, Therum ensured that the styling of the lower thirds harmonized seamlessly with the video’s overall aesthetic. The project’s success was further amplified by its placement on the ESSENCE website, where it garnered significant visibility and engagement from a diverse audience. With its visually striking elements and celebration of Black Fashion at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture, the project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity in digital storytelling.
